NewsACT UP Call to ACTIONACT UP is calling upon you to show your solidarity with antiwar and anti-palestianian occupation activists Stacy Smith, Kate Barnhart, Steve Quester and Lysander Puccio, by joining them in court on August 1st at 9:30 am in New York City Criminal Court, 100 Centre Street, Manhattan. Despite winning their appeal over the District attorneys attempt to send them to jail for cases which were dismissed in prior arrests for AIDS and other activism, there are still some past records that Judge Stolze could use to send them to jail. It is vital we take time to support these incredible activists. Join them in court. If the Judge sees an outpouring of community support it will be harder to order them imprisoned. Take the N, R, Q, J, M, W or Z train to Canal Street. Ask a court officer to direct you the courtroom where Judge Stolz is presiding that morning.
